Girona, April 2024 – On the 13th, 14th, and 15th of April, the different partners of the Widespread School project gathered for the second time, this time in the beautiful city of Girona. This meeting continued the engaging and collaborative spirit of our first encounter in Reggio Emilia, allowing us to further delve into the experiences and methodologies related to the EOC (Education Outside Classroom) pedagogy.
During our stay, we explored various public spaces utilized for these educational experiences, including Carme Auguet School, the Ajuntament de Girona, Bòlit (Centre d’Art Contemporani), and the Museum of Cinema, among others. These venues are integral parts of the Nexes Project, an EOC initiative. Each actor involved in the project explained their role, providing us with a comprehensive understanding of their contributions. Additionally, the students offered a very personal vision of the project through a presentation they conducted at the school.
Over the course of these three days, we held numerous working sessions where we shared experiences, ideas, and continued to shape the project from each of the different work packages. The collaborative atmosphere enabled us to make significant progress and strengthened our commitment to the project’s objectives.
