As a result of the research work carried out within the framework of the widespread school project, two articles have been published in scientific journals that provide the most relevant ideas on the Scuola Diffusa model.
The first article, “Scuola Diffusa”y educación ampliada como práctica socio-educativa para la inclusión. Un estudio cualitativo, documents the implementation of the Scuola Diffusa model in the city of Reggio Emilia with a qualitative approach.
The second article, Educación distribuida y conectada. Concepto, dimensiones y experiencias, develops the theoretical concept of “Distributed and Connected Education” (“Widespread Education”) based on five experiences from different countries.
The research and theoretical framework on WS is one of the specific objectives of the project and also contributes directly to the design and application of the toolbox.
